Participation of the Ambassador in the Business Conference
On 7 August 2019 Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of India Sulton Rahimzoda participated in the Business Conference “India – Central Asia and beyond towards Growth & Prosperity”, organized by Millennial India International Chamber of Commerce Industry & Agriculture(MIICCIA) in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs at The Royal Plaza Hotel in New Delhi.
The Conference aimed to discuss different aspects of further improvement of economic and trade cooperation between India and Central Asian countries towards growth and prosperity. It was actively attended by the Senior officials of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India, Ambassadors and Senior officials of the diplomatic missions accredited in New Delhi, including the ambassadors of Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kirgizstan and Senior Officials of Embassies of Afghanistan, Russia, Armenia and Uzbekistan, as well as Indian business society.
Ambassador Sulton Rahimzoda in his presentation informed the participants about the investment climate in Tajikistan, the country’s economic potential and its natural resources, the strengthening of trade and economic relations, the ways of trade growth and to revitalize special arrangements in this field with the aim of further expanding the mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and India.
